New Diversity and Inclusion Committee

The creation of the Arcos Dorados Diversity and Inclusion Committee was proposed with a very clear purpose: to commit to promoting and respecting individualities as a fundamental human value for life and work.

We understand that we live in a changing world that demands and allows us, at the same time, to take on the commitment to support these developments in a positive and active way.

We are a company that is known for its diversity and, in that context, we have a great window of opportunity to keep building and strengthening the pride of belonging to an inclusive and cutting-edge company.

With the support of an external consultant, we carried out a diagnosis on the basis of which three main initial focal points were identified: gender, generations and sexual diversity. And a fourth focal point, which is related to all of them, is health and well-being. For each of them, a leader was designated, who will be responsible for its planning and presentation. A preview of this was the launch of the Women’s Network by Elizabeth Porth. The health and wellbeing section will be presented soon.

Stages of the process / Representative sample:

  • Collection and analysis of Arcos Dorados statistical data and HR policies
  • online surveys for Employees of different hierarchical positions, representatives of the 20 markets and of staff and restaurants
  • in-depth interviews

The Committee members include Woods Staton as Sponsor and Marlene Fernandez as leader. It also includes its culture-transforming members: David Grinberg, Federico Saevich, Francisco Fornieles, Mariana Battisti, Elizabeth Porth, Bárbara Wadströmer, Nahuel Fassi, Sergio Pivetti, Nicolás Uribe, Mayra Broglio, Marisol Vega, Nadia Ruiz, Patricia de Hart, Ricardo Guedes, Soledad Veiga, Florencia Andryseca, Violeta García, Francisco Diego Teixeira, Andrea Grumach and Ariana Rivera.
