At Arcos Dorados, we are well aware of the vital importance of the use and consumption of water and its direct impact on our operations.
Therefore, through the Natal project, we seek to strengthen our commitment to natural resources, with the aim of reducing water wastage as well as improving access to local communities.
How does it work? Through the reuse of condensed water from air conditioners for watering gardens, cleaning facades and restaurant accesses.

Curious fact: Do you know where this project was born?
The Natal Project is the result of an initiative of a member of the Brazilian Equipment and Maintenance area that arose during a complex water supply period in the country. By observing the dripping of air conditioners, he noticed that this water could be reused and shared this proposal with his superior. His idea was realized and today the project has been implemented in 7 of the 20 countries in which Arcos Dorados operates.
