Dinosaurs are back to delight us with the pleasure of reading

Throughout its history, McDonald’s has distributed more than 425 million books in its Happy Meal around the world. An action that allows the brand, by its global scale, inspire children’s passion for reading.

And 2019 will certainly not be an exception! Thus, along with its new proposal “A Book or a Toy”, it seeks to expand the number of readers with the Happy Meal while strengthening its positioning towards families, one of our pillars of experience.

What is the program’s offer for the current year? “Treetop Twins Adventures”, a collection of 12 hardcover books written by the world-renowned author and award-winning author, Cressida Cowell.

This is an exclusive series, available only in our Happy Meal, which narrates the diverse and varied adventures of the twins Treetop, Alfie, Asha, Tulip and Ted. Thanks to a time machine designed by their parents and teachers Penélope and Pablo, these little lucky boys are the first family to have traveled back in time to devote themselves to the study of the dinosaur era!

In this way, the “A Book or a Toy” program provides families in Latin America and the Caribbean with tools that encourage reading habits for children from an early age.

The first copy of the collection will be available between March 6 and 7, according to each market. In addition, digital versions will be available on the McPlay platform to extend the experience on the online world … are you going to miss it?
