NP6 arrives at the SLAD, NOLAD and the Caribbean regions

During 2018 and 2019, we will implement the NP6 platform in the SLAD, NOLAD and the Caribbean regions.

During 2018 and 2019, we will implement the NP6 platform as part of our brand’s transformation. This involves improving efficiency in our restaurants through technology and, thus, increases customers’ experience, for example, with the introduction of a customizable menu option.

What is NP6?
It is the first step in a process that will then allow us to move forward in implementing other innovations such as upgrading restaurants to the Experience of the Future. It consists of an all-in-one Point of Sale (POS) system solution with a highly flexible design that makes it possible to enter orders in a faster, more agile and precise way, facilitating updates and maintenance.
With the help of McXimus, we will work on this great project in the three regions, which includes:

  • A standardized version of NP6 with a customization limited to the essentials in each country.
  • A technological changeover with an optimal technical platform.

To carry out this project, two teams were formed that work in parallel:

  • SLAD: Arcos Dorados team with a local supplier (Argentina) and participation of the leaders of the disciplines of the markets: Operations, Marketing and Finance.
  • NOLAD + Caribbean: Multidisciplinary team made up of leaders from the divisions of Arcos Dorados, McDonald’s Corporation and Capgemnini, whose experience in implementing this tool in other regions of the Corporation will be added.

Come discover how the kick off was carried out to start this evolution.
