The art of turning birthday parties into unforgettable celebrations

Celebrating a birthday at McDonald’s has become a classic in the memories of more than a generation. To continue on this path and keep on organizing memorable family-friendly activities, we are tirelessly working to evolve, transform and modernize them so that they continue to be our customers’ first choice.

On December 20th and 21st, the Corporate Marketing Department organized a workshop in which an interdisciplinary group came together to co-create the transformation and evolution of McDonald’s birthday party.

Inspired and enthusiastic ideas came to the fore, with participants understanding the importance of the role of the Customer Experience Leader as well as its power of adaptability and the need for ongoing training.

In association with the CREATA agency, the proposal invited participants to create an innovative experience, inspired by the information provided by the Radical Players, disruptive people, who gave rise to different and unique perspectives opened up by reflection to allow then to “prototype” all the ideas that emerged.

In addition, the teams were surprised to understand the importance of connecting with emotions to generate memorable experiences. Thus, the sense of smell and the sensory system are at the heart of the experiences that families have in our restaurants.

Even more importantly, everyone agrees that a birthday IN FAMILY is not just another service but a great Experience, because in Latin America the family is a value per se!
